Huria Marae offers the beginning of a great cultural learning experience for all ages and people of the community.
The Whare Tūpuna (ancestral house) provides just one of many important backdrops of our history. It is filled with beautiful artwork that tell the stories of our ancestors – stories that have lived on in the minds and hearts of the many generations of Ngāi Tamarāwaho.
We provide a cultural experience that is meaningful, relevant and exciting to know and learn about.
We offer this experience to all groups from, Early Childhood Centres, Primary, Intermediate and Secondary Schools to Tertiary Institutions, Businesses and Ethnic Cultural Groups.
We provide overnight stays, and will work with you to customise a meaningful program for your intended visit.
